Player Salaries

Learn how to monitor monthly payroll and agency commissions, forecast future expenditures, and manage contract lifecycle

Dashboard

The Salaries Dashboard allows you to monitor salary contracts and bonuses for your current players. At the top of the page you will see the total number of uploaded salary contracts and you are able to surf through dedicated views for Payroll, Agency Fees, Forecast and Contracts.

Payroll

       1.   The Payroll tab provides a detailed breakdown of all wage-related costs for a selected month.

Within this view, you can perform the following actions:

  • You can use the calendar dropdown to filter by month and year to review specific historical or current data.
  • By expanding a player's entry, you can see a detailed split between their Base Salary and any Bonuses due.
  • The interface also provides an immediate view of your total monthly costs at the top of the list and allows you to export the details for your own reporting - You can download a CSV file including the following details: Player Name, Line Item, Clause ID, Trigger Date, Currency, and Amount.

       2.   The payment terms

You can define exactly how your club’s pay periods are structured. You can set a specific Payroll date, such as the last day of the month, to align the system with your actual distribution schedule. Additionally, you can configure a Payroll window by selecting the start and end days for qualifying fixtures, which is helpful if your pay periods cross over into different months.

To configure these options, navigate to Settings via your profile in the top-right corner and select Payment Terms. These configurations are applied globally to all bonuses across your player contracts.

Agency Fees

The Agency Fees feature allows you to proactively calculate and track commission amounts owed to player representatives

Within this tab, you can use the Date range calendar to filter and view all commissions due for a specific month. The interface displays a list of players, their associated agencies, and the exact monetary sum owed. You can use the Download button to extract your agency fee data for use in external reporting or accounting systems.

Forecast

The Forecast tab allows you to project future salary-related costs and anticipate upcoming payment obligations with high accuracy. By analyzing your active contracts, this view predicts future outlays based on specific probability levels.

  • Date Range Filtering: Use the calendar dropdown to select a specific future month and year to see your projected costs for that period.
  • Probability Settings: You can filter your forecast based on how certain a payment is. The system categorizes these projections into three levels:
    • Certain (100%): Fixed costs like base salaries that are guaranteed to be paid.
    • Highly Likely (80%): Payments with a higher probability of occurring based on current data.
    • Likely (50%): Potential costs with a lower probability of triggering.
  • Cost Breakdown: For each player, you can expand their entry to see a detailed list of what makes up the projected total, such as their Base Salary or specific Signing Bonuses.
  • Total Projected Outlay: The interface displays the combined total of all forecasted payments at the top of the list for your selected criteria.

Contracts

The Contracts tab serves as a central registry for all active player agreements. It allows you to monitor critical timeline data, specifically focusing on contract durations and extension options to ensure you never miss a key deadline.

You can manage your squad's contractual status using the following features:

  1. Expiry Tracking: The table is sorted by Contract Expiry in ascending order, placing the players whose deals end soonest at the top of your list.
  2. Extension Options: You can instantly see the status of any extension clauses:
    1. No - No extension clause exists.
    2. Yes - A manual extension option is available but not yet used.
    3. Auto - An automatic extension exists but the conditions are not yet met.
    4. Triggered - The extension has been successfully activated.
    5. Expired - The window where the option can be exercised already closed

You can also filter the list to focus on specific contract extension categories, including All, Automatic, Manual, or those that are Expiring Soon.

You can manually activate an extension directly from this dashboard:

  1. Action Menu: Click the three dots icon next to a player with a "Yes" or "Auto" status.
  2. Trigger Option: Select "Trigger option" to open the contract view.
  3. Update End Date: You can review and edit the Contract end date, which is prepopulated with the new date defined in the original clause.
  4. Finalize: After saving, you are taken to the player's contract to make any final amendments before returning to your dashboard
